AstriCon: Telephony’s British Invasion

By Julie Webb

British Invasion (Blog)I’ve decided that we should seriously consider renaming AstriCon 2015 the Telephony British Invasion. Not only is the event taking place at the Loews Royal Pacific Universal, home of “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” but the event will welcome back several of my favorite community mates: Dan Jenkins, Tim Panton, James Body and David Duffett. These gents are the absolute bees knees in my book and always leave me gobsmacked by the amazing energy & knowledge they bring to AstriCon.

David Duffett is ace at putting together a vast array of content each year. This year’s content tracks include: Infrastructure and RTC; Developer and Tutorials; Integrations and Interfaces; Business and Case Studies as well as the addition of FreePBX World content. The caliber of speakers and sessions is absolutely blinding and you would be absolutely off your trolley to miss out on AstriCon 2015.

Make sure you check out our version of the British Invasion at AstriCon:

Tim Panton, “Putting the Web into WebRTC”, Thursday, October 15 , 11:00 AM – 11:35AM

Dan Jenkins, “Building Call Centre Applications for the 21st Century”, Wednesday, October 15, 11:00AM – 11:35AM

James Body, “Dangerous Demos”, Thursday, October 15, 1:45PM – 3:00PM

Check out the latest Asterisk Live with Dan Jenkins as he gives you a sneak peek into his AstriCon presentation.

Look forward to seeing you at AstriCon!
