Switchvox And Active Directory Integration: A Match Made In Security Heaven

By Matthew Hilton

As an IT administrator, managing local passwords for separate solutions is difficult, time-consuming, and requires constant maintenance. Using a centralized security solution like Microsoft Active Directory is the answer.

Switchvox now integrates with Active Directory to allow users to log into their Switchvox portal with their Active Directory passwords, making life easier for system administrators and Switchvox users alike. With less unique passwords to remember, users are less likely to need to write them down, use less secure passwords or forget their password outright. The new Active Directory integration for Switchvox not only increases your business’s overall IT security, it also increases user satisfaction levels.

If you’re running a non-Microsoft directory service, called LDAP, the new Switchvox integration will work as well.

Note: To use Active Directory integration, your Switchvox system must be running version 6.6 or greater.
