WOW! Great Speaking Submissions Have Flooded in for AstriCon!

By David Duffett

As the deadline for making speaking submissions approached, there was a flurry of activity! Great ideas for talks arrived in those last few days adding to the already excellent selection we had from Asterisk Community members who had already managed to get their submissions in earlier.

Now the hard task of selecting the absolute cream of the crop has started to make sure we have the best line-up of sessions to present at AstriCon 2018!

Submissions came in about SIP infrastructure, Asterisk deployment tips and techniques, network function virtualization, WebRTC, contact centre intelligence, and voice biometrics – to name only a few of the subject areas.

So, whether you are new to Asterisk or a seasoned user or developer, there will undoubtedly be something for you at this MUST ATTEND EVENT of the year for the most popular open source communications platform on the planet – Asterisk!

Do keep watching your inbox and social media channels as we will be letting you know which talks made the grade in early July.

Of course, while the talks are one of the most important parts of AstriCon, we also have the Expo Floor (including the Open Source Showcase), the keynote speeches, and by far the best opportunity all year to hang out and mingle with other Asterisk fans.

Don’t miss out! Grab your AstriCon pass now before Early Bird Pricing ends on June 30th. If you want to bring your friends and co-workers, we have a Diamond Pass that allows you to bring up to three additional people.

Register for AstriCon now!

I’m really looking forward to AstriCon 2018 – hope to see you there!
