Asterisk World 2019 is Shaping Up Well!

By David Duffett

Still basking in the glow of another amazing AstriCon, we’ve already set to work to ensure the successful delivery of great sessions for Asterisk World 2019, which runs January 29 through February 1 in Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center.

If you’ve never visited Asterisk World before, you may not realize that it runs in parallel with IT Expo, which contains further conference sessions and industry exhibitors beyond those that are part of the Asterisk community.

We have a great collection of speakers at Asterisk World 2019, some familiar faces and some who will be with us for the first time.

Prepare to learn from speakers like Fred Posner, Allison Smith, Rodrigo Cuadra, and Alan Percy on things like Kamailio and Asterisk, the importance of your IVR, cloud PBX security measures, and SBCs.

You can see the full agenda here.

If you’re new to Asterisk or would like to take a little look under the hood, we have our own Asterisk from Scratch modules that will be presented on the morning of Wednesday, January 30, by Chris Howard (Training Manager at Digium) and myself.

We’re also very excited to announce a special workshop from the FreePBX team called Go to Market Strategies for Asterisk & FreePBX, which is set run on Tuesday, January 29.

All in all, there are many great reasons to attend Asterisk World 2019 – the conference sessions, the expo floor, and the networking opportunities are just three of those reasons. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that it’s in Fort Lauderdale, FL, at a time of year when many other places are suffering the worst of winter weather.

Hope to see you there!
