Digium's products are based on open standards, which means that resellers are not locked into buying phones or servers from any single vendor. Digium makes products directly available to the end user via our website, but only at higher than MSRP list prices to help drive sales through its authorized resellers. This helps to preserve the Authorized Reseller's margins by allowing the products to be sold at margin-healthy prices, plus provides resellers additional opportunities in revenue through professional services such as custom solution design, installation, integration, and subscription-based services.

Benefits of Certification
Digium Certification programs are designed to provide our partners with a competitive edge by providing the product training necessary to be successful. Channel Partners who wish to participate at the Registered or Select levels of our partner program must be certified in at least one Digium solution specialty: Asterisk or Switchvox.
Complimentary pre-sales partner training is delivered online through our Digium Partner Portal and courses can be completed on-demand, on your own schedule.
Asterisk Certification
Provides partners with the knowledge to design, implement and support telephony solutions based on Asterisk Open Source or Asterisk Business Edition Solutions. Channel partners who certify under this specialty will receive recognition as a Certified Asterisk Integration Partner.
Switchvox Certification
Provides partners with the knowledge to design, implement and support telephony solutions based on Switchvox, Digium's award-winning Unified Communications solutions. Channel partners who certify under this specialty will receive recognition as a Certified Switchvox Partner.
