Digium Names Bill Miller Vice President of Product Management and Marketing

Industry Veteran Joins Growing Digium Team

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 21, 2006--Digium®, creator of Asterisk® and pioneer of open source telephony, today announced its new Vice President of Product Management and Marketing, Bill Miller. With over 25 years of executive management and product development experience, Miller will be heading Digium's product management and marketing teams.

Miller has extensive experience in the networking and telecommunications industry - having launched several successful companies and products. Prior to joining Digium, Miller led voice product management at 3Com. Previously, Bill founded WIM Technology Marketing, a consulting company focused on market acceleration and financing for innovative start-up companies and products in vertical markets. He also held executive positions as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Andes Networks, Vice President of Fujitsu's Strategic Planning and Alliance Management group, as well as their Broadband Services group, and Associate Vice President of ATM for General DataComm, Inc.
