CHICAGO (NXTcomm Booth #1153) — June 19, 2007 — Digium®, Inc., the Asterisk® company, and Bandwidth.com®, the leading nationwide provider of complete business communications solutions, today announced a partnership. Bandwidth.com, a long-standing Digium customer, has become a Digium Premier Certified Service Provider. The partnership enables the companies to closely collaborate on new telecommunications services and platforms for business customers.

Digium created, maintains, owns and is the innovative force behind Asterisk, the most widely used open source telephony communications software. The company also offers a full range of hardware that allows customers to readily integrate Asterisk-based systems into existing and new converged networks. Bandwidth.com has long used Digium Asterisk software and the company's hardware to provide telephony services to business customers on the Bandwidth.com network. During 2007, the company will deliver more than 1.2 billion voice minutes from over 48,000 endpoints using Asterisk.

"We've enjoyed a strong relationship with Digium for three years, routinely deliver over 100 million voice minutes a month using Asterisk at the edge of our network, and are on pace to double that number later this year," said David Morken, president and chairman of Bandwidth.com. "As the founder of Asterisk, Digium is vital to our operations and we felt now was the right time to formalize a partnership and put in place a framework for closer collaboration. We continue to align ourselves with the best hardware and software providers in the business to ensure our customers receive the most robust and complete offering available."

In addition to joining the Digium Certified Service Provider Program, Bandwidth.com will use Digium hardware to enable services for small and mid-sized business customers. Digium will include Bandwidth.com as a voice over IP (VoIP) service provider option presented in the AsteriskGUI™ graphical user interface included in the AsteriskNOW™ software appliance, the hardware-based Asterisk Appliance™ and Asterisk Business Edition™. Both companies have also agreed to cooperate in the development of new advanced services and platforms for the Bandwidth.com network.

Danny Windham, CEO of Digium, commented: "Bandwidth.com has become one of the fastest growing businesses in the country because it offers the mix of telecommunications services and outstanding customer support so many companies are looking for today. Digium is pleased to have helped fuel that growth with the Asterisk platform and hardware and looks forward to expanding our relationship with Bandwidth.com as we collaborate on new services."
