NORWALK, CT (Nov. 13, 2008)— Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC®) announced today that Danny Windham, chief executive officer of Digium®, has agreed to deliver a keynote address at its INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East 2009, to be held from Feb. 2-4, 2009 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Windham's address, which is open to all registered attendees, will take place Feb. 3, 2009 at 10:30 AM (EST). Registration for the conference is now open at http://www.itexpo.com.
INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPOTM, held since 1999, is the world's largest and best-attended IP Communications trade show. Featuring three days of educational sessions, featured speakers, networking events, and exhibit hall interaction, the event is expected to attract up to 7,000 attendees.
This year, ITEXPO will host Digium|Asterisk World, the conference and exhibit focused on "everything Asterisk" for business users, resellers and executive decision-makers. Digium is the creator, sponsor and primary developer of Asterisk, the most widely used open source telephony software. Digium's product lines include a wide range of hardware and software to enable resellers and businesses to implement turnkey solutions or to design their own VoIP systems.

Danny Windham joined Digium, the Asterisk Company, in February 2007 as CEO. In his role of CEO, Windham is responsible for setting corporate strategy and executing day-to-day business operations. Prior to joining Digium, Windham served as president and chief operating officer of ADTRAN, a global provider of networking and communications equipment. Windham joined ADTRAN in 1989 following ADTRAN's successful acquisition of Processing Telecom Technologies, a company Windham co-founded in 1986. Prior to becoming president/COO in 2005, Windham served as the senior vice president and general manager of the Enterprise Networks Division.
