Huntsville, Ala. — March 15, 2007 — Digium®, Inc., the Asterisk® company, today announced its growing presence at VON, the telephony industry's leading event and conference. Digium Founder and CTO Mark Spencer will deliver a Spring VON keynote address, "Calling across the Chasm," on Wednesday, March 21 at 9:30 a.m. and disclose plans for a new Digium/Asterisk World conference that will take place along side Fall VON on October 29-November 1, 2007 at the Boston Convention and Expo Center.

Also making its debut at Spring VON will be the Digium Pavilion and "World Theatre" — a 30x40 foot presentation area featuring live demonstrations of Digium's leading Asterisk technology. Partners, including Apsect, Intel, LumenVox, Polycom, Simple Signal, SpectraLink, Switchvox, TransNexus and VoicePulse, will also be in attendance to share their insights and experiences working with Digium's technology.
Rounding out Digium's dominant presence at the Spring VON event will be an Open Source Update panel discussion featuring Kevin Fleming, Digium senior software engineer and co-maintainer of Asterisk, on Tuesday, March 20 at 6:45 p.m.
