Uniplay Becomes Digium System Integrator

Milan, April 16, 2007 — Uniplay (www.uniplay.it), the center of excellence based in Milan and focused on applications development based on VoIP technology, today announced that it has signed an important agreement with Digium, Inc. (www.digium.com) related to the recently announced Asterisk Appliance™.

Digium® is the creator and developer of Asterisk®, the original open source PBX. The Asterisk Appliance is the latest product from Digium to bring Asterisk, the VoIP software already in use by more than two million people, to an even broader market.

Designed to meet the needs of businesses and branch offices with up to 50 users, the Asterisk Appliance combines the cost savings and flexibility of open source with the rapid installation, high reliability and ease of use of an appliance.

Now, as a Digium systems integrator, Uniplay is able to take full advantage of the open nature of Asterisk to complete Uniplay's offering to the Italian Internet Telephony Service Provider market.
