Cannot delete voicemail using Android app

Friday, June 14, 2013

Deleting a voicemail does not work using the Android app. If you log into /main the voicemail is still there. The voicemail is only deleted locally on the phone.  Refreshing repopulates the voicemail.  There is no work around at this time but the problem is fixed in the next Switchvox Mobile app release.

Fixed in Switchvox Mobile App for Android 1.01

Some voicemails are not being saved

Friday, June 14, 2013

The issue is intermittent and hard to replicate.  The voicemail call appears in the Call Logs but no email notification is sent nor is the voicemail saved in the extension's mailbox.  If you are being affected by this issue, please contact support and open a ticket.  A patch is available as a temporary fix.  It is version specific and will need to be reapplied after an update.  A permanent solution is in progress and should be available in the near future.

Voicemail option to push "0" to exit does not work as expected under certain conditions

Friday, June 14, 2013

When pressing the send to VM softkey on a Digium phone, the voicemail option to push the "0" key to exit is not working under certain conditions.  If the extension is an IVR or a Call Queue, a message is played "I'm sorry the person at ext[] does not have a mailbox. Good Bye."  The workaround is to let the call go to voicemail on its own or use a either phone or virtual extension.  The problem is fixed in an upcoming release.

Fixed in Switchvox SMB version 5.8

Caller ID for Call Cascade is not working properly under certain conditions

Friday, June 14, 2013

When an extension B is cascading a call to an external number C over a SIP Peer/Provider, the caller ID shows as the extension that has the rule not the extension making the call.  If extension A calls B while the call cascades to C, C does not see A's caller ID. Instead C sees B's caller ID.   There is no work around at this time but problem is fixed in an upcoming release.

Fixed in Switchvox SMB version 5.8
