Technical Support via Digium's Maintenance Support Program
Digium® is dedicated to supporting your Asterisk system by offering full technical support through our Maintenance Support Program. The Maintenance Support Program covers all Digium hardware and the complete Asterisk software suite, and guarantees that you will always have a working Asterisk system, no matter what happens.
Free Installation Support
Digium is committed to supporting its hardware and software products. While the Asterisk mailing list and IRC channel can be helpful for many people, Digium also provides professional support services for Asterisk. All Digium hardware products come with free installation assistance. If you purchase a piece of hardware from Digium, we will help you install it, including building and loading the drivers and the Asterisk software.
This installation support does not include full configuration of the PBX, building a dialplan, etc.
In order to receive free installation support, you should follow this simple checklist:
Checklist
- If you are having trouble compiling zaptel, zapata, libpri, or Asterisk, be sure you have all of the following packages installed on your system: kernel-sources, openssl-devel
- Be sure you have downloaded and built (or attempted to build) the latest release of zaptel, libpri, and Asterisk.
- When you contact our support staff, have your model and serial number handy for whatever cards you need assistance with.
- When seeking support for T1 or E1 cards, please be prepared to provide detailed information regarding the kind of equipment or service that is being connected to the Digium card, and how the service or equipment is provisioned.
- In order to help you install your software, our technicians may need root level access to your machine over the Internet. Be prepared to provide login information (including IP address and a temporary root password) if requested.
