Featuring the first Digium-developed AsteriskGUI™ framework, the Asterisk Appliance 50 (AA50) integrates all the telephony needs of a small business into a single platform by effectively combining the benefits and reliability of today's high-quality voice infrastructures with access to low-cost VoIP.
The AA50 is a standalone embedded Asterisk-based PBX targeted for small to medium businesses (2-20 users), remote branch offices of larger organizations (2-20 users per site), and managed service providers for on-premise CPE-based solutions with SIP or IAX trunking. The AA50 also offers a hybrid solution alternative (a combination of VoIP applications using legacy telecom equipment) for customers who are not yet ready to migrate to a complete VoIP solution.
The AA50 is easy-to-install and feature-rich without the expense of a traditional system. The AA50 can function not only as a PBX, but also as a voice mail server, an IVR server, a conferencing server as well as a VoIP gateway. The AsteriskGUI simplifies configuration, management, and fine tuning of your AA50 system resulting in reduced su pport cost and enhanced ROI for your small business.
The AA50 is available in the following configurations: VoIP Only (S800i), Eight Trunk (S808B), and Four Trunk plus Four Station (S844B).
