Digium Certified Asterisk Administrator
The Digium Certified Asterisk Administrator (dCAA) program is intended to validate basic competency with Asterisk. It requires general telephony and VoIP knowledge as well as specific Asterisk knowledge related to installing, configuring, and administering an Asterisk system. Digium Certified Asterisk Administrator certification lasts 2 years and is awarded after earning a passing score on the dCAA examination.
The Digium Certified Asterisk Administrator exam is administered online and consists of 60 multiple-choice questions testing your knowledge of Asterisk, VoIP, and telephony. To pass the dCAA exam, it is recommended that you have experience administering an Asterisk system, and are comfortable installing, configuring, and maintaining an Asterisk server using Linux and Asterisk CLI commands. Those wishing to prepare for the dCAA are encouraged to enroll in our Asterisk Fast Start training course. Information on open source Asterisk can be found at Asterisk.org.
